Toy Story Lab Week Gauntlet

Self-contained Lab Week browser shooter with two character modes, local scores, and pointer-lock controls.

The problem

A Lab Week game needed to run from a browser and remain available after the event without depending on a login or server-side score service.

My role

Event-game design, browser shooter implementation, score handling, and packaging.

What I built

  • Browser shooter with two character modes
  • Wave encounters and weapon switching
  • Local score tracking

The result

A playable Lab Week game preserved as a self-contained browser release.

Implementation

How it works

Players choose Buzz or Woody, move through wave encounters, switch weapons, and record scores locally. Pointer-lock controls support the first-person view; the bundled page and assets run without a backend.

Technical context and methods

The linked build includes the game, assets, vendor runtime, and local score handling in one static deployment.
